Akash Singh [CA, (SA), MBA, *PhD: Corporate Governance]
Mr Akash Singh, a registered Chartered Accountant and MBA holder, is the Company's Chief Executive Officer with extensive experience in consulting and business development. Akash is currently completing his Doctorate at the University of Kwazulu- Natal in the field of Corporate Governance.Previously, Akash was the General Manager at Nedcor (Head Office in Sandton-Operations) as well as at BoE (Durban-Finance). He also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (Durban) as the Dispute Analysis and Investigations Manager. Mr. Akash Singh, is also a member of the Board of the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Akash is at the forefront of local economic development of small medium and large business in KwazuluNatal.In 2005,he was awarded the Durban Chamber/ Standard Bank Business Entrepreneur of the Year 2005) award. Currently, remains highly active on the Durban Chamber’s SMME Desk, undertaking and addressing the challenges, issues and concerns relating to SMMEs in the eThekwini Region.
General Manager : Operations
Shamantha Moodley [Masters Degree: Biotech (cum laude), Dip: Project Management, Financial Management Certificate, *MBA ( current)]
Shamantha is the General Manager: Operations at Sigma International. She holds a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology (cum laude) with a solid science and research methodology background. This aptitude for research enables her to create a strong foundation for problem-solving and identifying weaknesses in business that are being re-engineered or mentored. She also holds a Diploma in Project Management with additional several years of experience in project managing. She has been involved in rolling out research studies in northern KZN, having led several HIV prevention projects that included epidemiological studies and microbicide intervention studies while based at the Medical Research Council. She has strong experience in developing and writing business plans, proposal-writing, as well as the development of quality management systems for SMMEs.She is also widely travelled both locally and overseas in attending conferences and seminars. Shamantha is also
responsible for the project management the Tourism Enterprise Partnership
program in Kwazulu-Natal.
Further, she is a consultant on new innovation projects applying for the
Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) SPII Fund in Kwazulu-Natal

Oswald Jack [PDBA, National Diploma: Project Management, National Diploma : Road Transportation Management]
Oswald specialises in Supply Chain Management with a strong Logistics, Sales and Marketing background and has worked for several years in the Professional Services industry, in both the private and public sectors, offering management and advisory services in the Transport, HealthCare and Chemical industries. He specializes in the areas of small business, business re-engineering, production planning, implementation of work measurement systems, development and implementation of lean process systems, and the development of quality management systems.

Bernard Keitany [Honours: Electrical & Electronics Engineering]
Keitany Bernard is an Honours graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering .He also holds a City & Guilds diploma in Telecommunications. Employed as a Consultant at Sigma International, Keitany has strong project management experience and a solid technical background. Before joining Sigma, he has worked with a reputable Alcatel –Lucent sub-contractor in Kenya, as a BSS Engineer. Prior to that, he worked for UNICEF, as a Project Engineer, on designing a communication hub prototype.

Nokwanda Mbambo [National Diploma: Business Studies]
Spending several years in the well-established Three
Cities Group, has allowed Nokwanda has gained invaluable experience in the
tourism sector. She comes with vast experience in organizing tourism events,
clerical and administration duties. Currently working on the Tourism
Partnership Program, has placed her in a position of daily interaction with
hundreds of tourism SMME’s. Nokwanda has gained deep insight in the difficulties
facing many tourism companies today and being able to provide business support
and advice

Candice Padayachee
Candice has considerable experience in project coordination and administration. She is at present successfully project managing the KZN Master builders HIV/AIDS trainings.
With aims to add to the unique skills set, Candice has began the SAQA accredited (South African Qualifications Authority) higher diploma in Adult basic education and training,
She is currently a Consultant at Sigma International with strong organisational skills
She is now involved in general administration, report-writing and minute-taking, staff satisfaction surveys and project management.

Zanele Mvune [ Diploma : Project Management, Office Administration & Hospitality Management]
Zanele is Diploma graduate that has strong administration background and has worked for several years in the hospitality industry and social services economic sector. She specializes in liaising with stakeholders in order to guide the implementation of the training programme. She also assists in providing support to organisational development for Tourism Enterprise Partnership Programme. She is also responsible for developing marketing and sales strategies for SMMEs under the Social Plan. She is also involved in monthly evaluation of SMME progress reports.
